The last day for the filing of declaration was midnight Tuesday night, but the majority of the petitions had been filed previous to that time. The list includes the ten candidates for the Republican nomination and the seven candidates for the Democratic nomination for governor. Declarations of three men for each party were filed for senator, two for Representative from the Fifth district for the Democratic nomination, and one, Noble J. Johnson, for the

J S. Chandler, one of the older farmer of Clinton township was in Greeneastle this week and in calling at The Daily Banner Office, gave us some interesting inf-nmation concerning himself and the county. Mr.
Rjscoe Randall, 23 year old son of Mrs. Nellie Randall 705 South Col lege Ave., died in Bloomington Wed nesday. Death was due to tuberculosis, from which he had been suffering for some time. At one time he had been a patient at Sunnyside Sanator ium, Indianapolis. Mr. Randall was an architect an was employed in Bloomington at the time of iiis death, lie passed away at the home of an aunt in that city. His mother and ister, Miss Gretchen who is in the local High School are in Bloomington, having been called there by the critical illness of Mr.
