INDIANAPOLIS LIVESTOCK INDIANAPOLIS, April 4. (UP)— Hog prices jumped Id to 20 cent-. > the Indianapolis livestock exchange today. A few butcher- gained 2 • cents. Receipts numbered 7,500, 210 of which were holdovers. Bulk (150 to 000 lbs.) hogs brought $8.15 to $8.80. The top price paid was $8.85. Cattle receipts numbered 1.100 and calves receipts 700. I he market closed higher. Beef steers cleared at $11.75 to $14 and vealers at $15 to $16. Heavy calves went at $6.50 to $10.00. Sheep receipts numbered 200. The market closed strong. Spring lambs were auctioned off at $24 to $2i.o0.
