Mrs. Arthur Johns is visiting relatives and friends in Kentucky. She has planned to be away four or five weeks. Paul Thomas was called to the home of hi.s parents, who live near Lena, one evening last week to visit his mother, who is very sick. The doctor says she is threatened with pneumonia. Lottie Dickey will soon go to work again as her mother is improved in health. Some of the mump scare proved to be a severe case of cold.
