First Ward Parent-Teachers’ met Thur.day evening at the Ward. Ninety f'.’Jurs and mothers were present. 'i he rhythm band of the 1st grade, ‘L .Adam.- room, had a part on the program. The 5th and (ith grades -ang two songs, William Wordsworth - “ I ho Daffodils”, and George .McDonald’ “Bet’ r to Sit at the Waters Birth.” These two poems were put to music by Mrs. B. H. Bruner, j president of the organization and I dedicated to the First Ward. They j were enjoyed by those present.
The speaker for the evening was Albert
Prof. L. H. Dirks, who gave one of the most interesting talks that has over been given before the association. Mrs. Bruner presided at the meeting, and devotions were led by
Rev. 15. H. Bruner.
