On of the biggest debates on the car l of DePauw debate teams will be held in Meharry hall this evening at 7:30 o’clock when an affirmative tea m from DePauw clashes with the negative team of Notre Dame university. The question to be argued is, “Resolved That the Primary System for he Nomination of State and Federal Officers should be Abolished.” The debate will start promptly at 7:30 o’clock, and no admission fee will be charged. Both the DePauw and Notre Dame teams have achieved r '<“ut success so far this year and a good debate is in prospect. A negative team of DePauw will clash with the Notre Dame affirmative team at South Bend this evening at the same time. Tin DePauw affirmative team is composed of Robert Hixson of Gre ncastle, Paul Shultz. Chicago and William Smith of North Judson. The local negative team is composed of David Lewis, Alvin Rockhill and Franklin Cole. The negative team won the decision at a debate held in Rochester Thursday night, with the North Manchester affirmative forming the opposition.

This is the second appearance of Miss Barnum on this program within the past several months. A complaint for divorce, Artie L. Grissom vs. Thomas L. Grissom, has been tiled in th< Putnam Circuit court. According to the complaint, the plaintiff states she and the defendant were married on March 10, 1918 and separated on February 14, 1926. The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to support herself and their three children. A message was received this morning from Mrs. Milligan Young by Mrs J. W. McConnell stating that her son Henry Young and wife who were injured in an automobile accident Tuesday in Columbus Ohio were both conscious and had a very close call.
