spread of poisoning.

A method of exhausting automobile engine gases from the top, in-

stead of the bottom of motor cars is advocated by Dr. W. F. King, of the state board of health, as a means of checking the chronic carbon monoxide The 1928 building code

issued by the building council of the state will contain drastic regulations, providing adequate ventilating systems for public garages to combat this insidious gas, Dr. King declared. According to Dr. King, there is only one known way to render harmless these deadly fumes and that is to combine and dilute them with fresh

air.
