The mercury started on its upward treml Tuesday night and kept rising on Wednesday. Wednesday, the temperature was higher than it has been at any previous time this week.

The -heriff and prosecutor of Warren County were in Greencastle on I Tuesday evening and took Mrs. Marie Lang, who was arrested while visiting her husband at the State Farm Tuesday afternoon, back to Attica where she is wanted on a charge of passing fraudulent checks. Dr. and Mrs. W’. R. Hutcheson planned to leave Greencu tle for New York City this afternoon at 5 o’clock. They will leave New York on the “Resolute” for a trip around the world, early Saturday morning. Dr. and Mrs. Hutcheson will lie gone five
