be under the influence of liiluor hut still he tried to help get the machine in the ditch hack on the road. The car by this time was deep in *

the mire, mi he suggested that the I two girls get in his car with him I and then he said that he would get' hi hind the car in the ditch and try to

push it out. He told the young man

to get into the ditched machine and tart the motor. I

The two young ladies got into the

started driving away from the scone of the accident at a high rate of

speed, leaving the young man in the
