DePauw Notes
With Captain Glenn Smith tied up for the rest of the year with a game leg and Jones performing at Drake this week-end, the Tigers thinly clads j will have to do some fast stepping to leave the speedy tracksters from Rose , Poly when they meet on McKeen b ield tomorrow afternoon. Little is known of the comparative strength of the two teams but Uo.-e Poly is expected to provide planty of opposition. Captain Smith, one of the Tiger’s main point-getters, ruptured a blood vessel in his leg Tuesday in practice and will be out for the season. His place will be a hard one to fill and the loss will be a big handicap to the local tracksters.
