Where the Indians Trapped and Trailed Before the coming of the white man Putnam County was a veritable “Happy Hunting Ground” for the red man. His trails led everywhere. Deer and buffalo tarried and grew fat where the City of Greencastle now stands. But thriving industry and rich farming communities have gradually displaced the bear, the deer and the ruffled grouse. Time has wrought its changes—and with these has come development and progress which the First National Bank of Greencastle is pleased to think has resulted, in part, because of its conception of useful, far-reaching SERVICE to the community as a whole.

OAnother MeasonWhy— The Buick Third Member Buick cars drive through a third member, not the springs. The springs only support the body and assure easy riding. A Buick rear spring accidently broken cannot misalign the axle and prevent driving the car. The Buick axle remains in fixed position. Consequently the adjustment of Buick four-wheel brakes is not affected by the deflection of the springs. e-m-is-np
