HIGH SCHOOL NOTES Today was the last 'day of the first

semester.

The last banking day of the semester showed a total of $38.26. Of this amount $33.10 was from the high school and $5.16 from the Junior high. The cup has not been awarded as yet due to the fact that several students brought in money and some of the classes brought their averages up to

100 per cent.

Miss Learning, the domestic science teacher is finishing her last semester in the local high school. Her services have ben very efficient and it is a great loss to the school to have her go. The doors to the DePauw gym will be open at 6:30 tonight for the Bed-ford-Greeneastle basket ball game. High enthusiasm prevailed in G. H. S. today and the students are looking
