WATCH ’EM STOP ’EM The question before the house of colleges is: “Can DePauw Stop Franklin?’ We heard the subject discussed for more than an hour Monday by several fans, and the consensus of opinion was that the two teams would split on these games. Some thought Franklin would win at Greencasue and lose at home; others thought the opposite. As we see it the teams are playing entirely differe t types of basketball. DePauw is a fast-passing, accurate-shooting heavy aggregation . It has weight in the guards positions, where weight counts. It has height at backguard and at center. It has Laughlin to run around like a fox terrier and be a hundred places at the same time. It

then comes Vandivier. Vandivier is the key to the offensive. He has unlocked more victories than any player we ever heard of. Franklin as a team, has shown ability to come from behind, from far behind. DePauw has yet to demonstrate this quality. DePauw is faster. Franklin is surer. DePauw has everyfhing to gain. Franklin has its great reputation at stake. Psychology will be spilled all over the DePauw gym, February 8. With both teams as they are now the breaks would have an important bearing on the outcome.
