An accident occurred on the Ocean to Ocean highway on Sunday afternoon that nearly became a serious af. fair. A new Maxwell touring car con taining a man and his wife was speeding across the bridge, about four miles north of Holiandsburg. As the car reached the opposite side of the structure it turned completely over. Witnesses aided in rescuing the two and the car was righted and the man and woman continued on their way. They did not disclose their

In the accident on the water works hill Friday in which C8ay Frank and Ben Saathoff figured, Mr. Frank stat- ( es he was coming down the hill as slow as possible with the load of wheat he had. Mr. Frank passed Mr. Saathoff and in doing so the cab of the truck struck a corner of the hay frame, but blow v^as not sufficient to hardly move the hay load and did not) knock it off the road. After Mr. Frank passed the wagon, the glass in the truck cab was falling, which he says might have frightened the horses and as the truck went ahead of the team, they started down the hill at a lively pace, Mr. Saathoff being unable to control them.
