OTICE is hereby given, that the Board of County Commissioners of Vigo county, Indiana, have agreed upon a plan for the building of a common jail at Terre-Haute. Se dud proposals either for the whole work and materials, or for the Iron, Brick, Stone, and Carpenter work separate will be received at the Auditor's Office in the city of Terre Haute, nntil the 14th day of August, 1855, at 10 o'clock, A. M. flans and specifications are open for in spection at my officc.

and Scott, his attorneys, and on morion ordered that the Judgement heretofore taken against the defendant Gibsen, be set aside, and it appearing to the Court from tho return of the Sheriff to the process herein, that the defendant James Gibsen, was not found. Ifc is therefore ordered by the Court, that the said James Gibsen, b« and appear in that Court, before I he Judge thereof, at its next term, to be held at the Court House, in TerreHaute, on the first Monday of October next, on or before the calling of tbe cause for trial, and plead answer or demur to the plaintiff's complaint, or tho matters and things therein contained, will be heard and determined in his absence, and this causc as to the said James Gibsen, is continued.
