The street pipes will embrace about four miles in size, six inch, four inch and three inch, exclusive of service pipe, to be furnished to each consumer. Wabasli street, as far as Sixth street, to have two lines of pipes, one on each side all the churches, public buildings, hotels' tc., (save and except crossing the canal) will have street pipes extended to them. Every effort will be used to have TerreHaute lighted with gas by July 4th. All the material castings are ordered and will be on the ground at an early day.

time allowed bylaw for the regular term of this court, being insufficient to complete the business pending herein, the regular term having elapsed leaving a large number of causes undisposed of and still pending.

It is ordered by the court, that there be an adjourned term of said court, held at the Court- House in Terre-Haute, commencing on the fotirth Monday of July. A. D., 1855, for the transaction of such business and the trial of such causes and matters as now remain undisposed of at the present term, and that public notice of the holding of such adjourned term, be given by publication of this order to three weeks consecutively in each of the weekly newspapers now published in TerreHaute. The last publication to be at least thirty days before the first day of said adjourned term, and that all matters and cau ses pending in this Court, which remain to be-disposer of at the present term, shall stand for trial at such adjourned term, and shall be docketed therefor, by the Clerk, as for a regular term, and that this Court now adjourn to said fourth Mond iy of July next. Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that notice of the pendency of this suit be given to the defendants, by publication in the American, a public newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Vigo county, Indiana, for three successive (weeks) publications, at least sixty days before the first day of the next term of this court, that the defendants on or before the calling of the cause for trial, plead, answer or demur to plaintiffs' complaint, or the same will be taken as confessed and decreed accordingly, to which time this cause is continued.
