The street pipes will embrace about four miles in size, six inch, four inch and three inch, exclusive of service pipe, to be furnished to each consumer. Wabash street, as far as Sixth street, to have two lines of pipes, one on each side all the churches, public buildings, hotels'«fec., (save and except crossing the canal) will have street pipes extended to them. Each consumer will be furnished with asrrrai, for measuring the amount of gas used.
The buildings will be of brick, and the works generally will contain all tha modern improvements.
Every effort will be used to have Terre Haute lighted with gas by July 4th. All the material castings arc ordered and will be on the ground at an early day.
