Charley Stone and wife were $t Paolithe first of the week attending the marriage of a relative of Mr. Stone. While in that vicinity they spent a day at West Baden.
The will of the late Henry Eller was probated Wednesday. It leaves all his property to the wife during her life time, then it is to be equally divided between all the children. Judge Banta and wife are in the ci v. stopping at the National. Toe Judge is quite enthusiastic over the prospects of the law school and has no doubt of a large attendance.

The funeral of the venerable John J. Greeves took place from the resi
dence on east 8th street Tuesday

Reed had charge of the service?. Rev. Reed was a life long friend of the dead and poke touchingly of his character and upright life. The body was interred in the city jceni-
tery. Mr. Greeves was an excellent citizen, a man of few words, always
just and strictly honest with every
one. He was tor many years a resident of Bloomington.
