The infaut child -of Henry Creech

died Monday morning. It had been

sick for some time.

Newten Fee and family left

Tuesday for Decatur, Ohio, where

they will make a short visit.

Prof. Charles Harris and family

arrived from Oberlin, CK, last week

and will remain here during the

summer.

During the1 month of June the Louisville, New Albany and Chica

go railroad handled 72 pieces of

days and expects to .accompany her east. Profs. Woodburn and McMillan are now at Chautauqua taking sosre special studies. " w - Mrs. Ida Henley was recently married at Brazil to Elder Goodwin, a preacher in the Christian church near that place. It is stated that it is the same Goodwin who attended the University herti t one time. Mr. and Mrs. Goodwin now live at Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mr. Edwards, of the class of '86, Indiana University, was married in Baltimore the first week in June,

and will spend the summer in Europe on a welding journey. Since graduation Mr. Edwards has spent one year in the I5nrmudas,two years in University studies and will return to the Hopkins University next year.

Prof. Samuel Gamer,now Professor of Modern Languages in the Naval Academy at Annapolis, delivered the annual address before the Literary Societies at St. John College, Md. His subject was "Plutocracy, a Menac toour Civilization." The address was largely quoted and highly commented on by the Baltimore press. The party to Piue Lake expect to start next Monday to remaiu about two weeks. A list of those going is as follows: Ben. Adams, jr., and wife, J. W. Shoemaker and wife, C. H. There vere present only a few of the intimate friends of the bride, and the ceremony was performed by Rev. W, M. Zarin?, presiding elder of this district. The bride, was dressed in a handsome cream -colored suit. The happy couple took the train for Gosport soon after the tcereinony where they took dinner with a brother of the
