A GSEA1BARGA1N. Good House and Lot for Sale on EXTRAORDINARY Easy terms. Call at once on W. P. Rogers. When the Hutchinson circus was here the balloon ascension was not made on account of the high wind. It seems that the wind was not blowing the 29th according to the following dip patch from Boonville: "This afternoo n while Harry Street, an attache of Hutchinson & Co.'s Wild West Show, attempted an ascension in a balloon and parachute, when the balloon reached an altitude of about three hundred feet it suddenly burst and atonce careened and made a rapid descent to the earth. The aeronant attempted to spread his parachute, but failed. He landed upou the edge of the roof of a house with a dull thud that could be heard the distance of a square, and then fell to the ground, about twenty feet away. He was picked np in an unconscious condition and taken into the house. The physicians pronounce his injuries probably fatal. He is a young man eighteen years of age, and said to have been possessed of wonderful nerve, and was quite a favorite with the company. Flis home is at Dubuque, Iowa. The accident was witnessed by a large crowd of people, who were almost terror-stricken at the sight of the accident, the balloon landing within sixty feet from the place it ascended. In the first attempt to inflate the balloon several holes were burned in it which were afterward patchg, and at that part the canvas burst. The company have another balloon and another man who will perform the same feat attempted today with such sad and fatal results." Mrs. H. Danraont,of Indianapolis, and Mrs. E. A. Danmont, of Cmcin nati, are the guests of Mrs. C. L. Steinhageti, Grant street. Dr. R. M. Weir was at Louisville Monday on business.

a mad-do; three weeks before. The
