The Telephone ha been shown a copy of "American Etiquette," just from the press, of which Rev. A. R. Phillputt, pastor of Christian Church . of this place is the Author, assisted by Profs. Walter IV Houghton, James K. Beck , James A. Wood burn Horace E., Hoffman and Mrs-, W. R. Houghton, and Alven E. Davis of Indianapolis. The work is published by a Chicago firm under the name of Mr. Davis, and is the only bookon this subject from Western Authr ors. It consists of over four hundred pages,and is very beautifully ill ustrated- with " engraving from steel. The. subject is thoroughly handled,
