Prof. E. H. Lindley, of Bloomington, for the last two years instructor in psychology at the Ind" iana University, will visit Mrs. S. P. Toner and Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Bain next week. Prof. Lindley has been spending the summer at Mackinac, Mich. In September he will go east to Clark University, near Boston, where he will take a post graduate course in his specialty. He has a two years leave of absence from I. U. Though yet a young man, Mr. Lindley ranks among the foremost scholars of psychology in the- west.- Martinsville Leader.

The program of the Christian Endeavor convention to be held Aug. 29 and 30, is almost read)for the press. The convention promises to be a good one. The names of Miss Jennie T. Marson, State .Secretary', and Pres. Hiudley of Ridgeville, appear on the program. Rev. Hiudley is .superintendent of the department of christian citizenship, and on the evening of the 30th will give an address 011 that subject. The convention will be held in the U. P. church.
