The Y. P. S. C. E. motto: "For ; in Spencer Sunday morning, was
Christ and the Church," was suspended from the fxpnt-ch.andeliers. Beginning at 9:30, the programme was taken up aud in the absence of Miss Minnie Paris, Miss Emma Pinkerton led the praise service. Rev. Chas. Marts opened the meeting proper by gh ing the welcome address, speaking of the reception the delegates would be made the recipients of. A very fitting response was given by Miss Maggie Small, after which Miss Gertude Harbin son delivered an excellent declamation. "Backsliding from the Pledge" was next to have been given by Miss Louise Mathers, but owing to the absence of Miss Mathers an Open Parliament was substituted which wa3 very interesting and lively, after which an intermission of twenty minutes wiw given after which a very pleasing declamation was given by Maud Farr. Prayer was then offered by Levi Batman. Miss Craig then favored the audience with one of her interesting recitations. "What does ou C. E. Mean" was then entertaingly given by Miss McCarty. Discussion was then led by Ernest Sears, after which the convention adjourned for dinner. AFTERNOON SESSION.

were conducted by J. T. Acuii',after which Levi Batman led in prayer as did ako J. H' Shook. Prayer by Dr. Lyons then closed that part of the programme reports. From the various societies of the county were given. There are now but foui societies in the county. Mrs. U. H. Hon then read an interesting paper on "Junior Work," which was carefully prepared, after which the discussion was led by Mrs. Pinker ton. Necessity of "Prayer in Our Meeting" was then ably given by Mac Stewart. Next, was a recitation by Mabel Scluchter. Rev M. G. Allison then gave an able address which was well re iei ved after which D. C. Miller read an interesting paper on "SoulWinning the Ultimate End of Christian Endeavor." Miss Lindley then gave a pleasing recitation, after whu h the after-
