School Days are Over. Thursday marked the close o school for the summer vacation. The pupils received their honorary promotion certificates, with the exception of those who didn't. The good scholar received his reward as did the bad boy or girl, who will remain auothtr year in the same grade where she or ho might struggle for promotion hi the future. "Did you get promoted? Yep on condition" was often heard during the day. The teachers will spend the summer months recuperating while the kids are fishing and swimming. The ardious duty of school life is now laid aside, that all may enjoy rest, peace and con teutment, while the summer su shines hot, hotter, hottest.
