Trains on the Monon between here, says the Lafayette Cai and Chicago are being run over the Chicago & Atlantic Road, owing to the disappearance fifty feel" or so of track near Shelby, which has sunk out of sight in a nnul hole, of which thar bottom lias not yet been found. In constructing the road great, trouble was experienced at this point and piling was driven down to a depth of 90 feet, and then filled in on top with brush and gravel before they 4;ould uvafce a road bed at all. This rainy, slushy weather has knocked the bottom out again, and the track, road bed and all again dissappeared in the hole on Saturday- afternoon.
