The weather was very disagreeable last Saturday but the town was full of people. In Uedford tke saloons would be an attraction oh such a day, but .here we have no licensed -saloons. The largest and best stocked boot and shoe store in the city is kept by Wt T. Blair, in the new -block. ; Go the Bee Hive for bargains in Boots and Shoes.

G. R. Perdue has moved to the Periug farm. Southwest of town, and has rented his residence to Prof. Armagnac, who pays 300 a year. A tramp printer callijg himself the Hon. John G. Gaafitt was here this week on his way to Bedford, where he could find plenty to drink whether he eot
