,The annual re-union ol the Rogers family was held in the grove of Aqnilia W. Rogers on Thursday of last week. While the attendance was not so large as on some former occasions, there was a goodly number present, and, as usual, the event proved to be very inte resting and enjoyable one. The features of the day were a game of town -bail by young and old; game of quoits; a raid on a load uf watermelons; and a grand, old-iahifUed, square meal, such as the gods might envy. Then there were some interesting speeches, by Elias Abel, Lon Rogers and Will P. Rogers. FJre deputy wrenched tlut knife out of hi5 piisoners baud and marched him. -off to the lock-up.- Young Chambers was arrested on his mother's farm at Sunburn. Indictments have been pending against these parties for some time, and recently the papers foi their arrest were sent to Ki.ox county. The elder Chambers' bail was fixed at $1,000 and his son's at $500. They are both in jail at th is writing Wednesday having failed to give bail up to this time.
