LIGONIER NEWS A group of sixty people were present at the annual Saggars Reunion held Sunday. July 16. at the Boy Scout Cabin. Charles Saggars presided over' the business meeting. Election of officers was held for the coming year. The new officers are Con Sheline. president: Maynard Wheeler, vicepresident; and Mrs. Larry Hartsough. secretary-treasrer. The reunion will be held the same place next year. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jorg had as guests the previous week-end Mr. and Mrs. John Jorg and family of Cromwell, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Botts. . The Petet Mazelins are on a Michigan vacation. Dewy N. Henry, pastor of the 'Christian Church, announces a special program to be given Thursday evening. July 25, at 7:30 p m. It will be a graduation service of seven people who have completed the Christian Service Training Course. Guest speaker will be Rev. Foster G. Sizemor. Minister of the Church of Christ, Painsville, Ohio. He is a lecturer. Evangelist and Pastor and is currently a director of l»ake Janies Christian Assembly, Angola, Indiana. Other activities of the evening will be a youth choir number, Mike Sprague soloist. Lester Blake w ill give a reading entitled "The Understanding Teacher.” Receiving the graduation certificates are: Mrs. Marian Crothers, Mrs. Hilda Hursey. Mrs. Naola Reed, and Misses Donna Reed, Linda Sprague, Virginia Sprague and Linda Wolf. The training course was given for two years, and has been used by many denominations all o\er the world. Mrs. Dewey Henry taught this course here. The public is invited to the program and later a social hour in the church dining hall.
