Os these, 6,994 are World War I veterans who have retained their United States Life Insurance 'USGLI' policies and 125.280 are later veterans who still hold their National Service Life Insurance (NSLD policies. This will be the second insurance dividend paid in 1961, according to A. J. Bochicchio, Manager of the Indianapolis VA Regional Office. The regular annual dividend for 1961 was paid in February and March. Special dividend payments will begin in July and will be completed by Labor Day. No application by the insured is required, the payments being automatically made. Bochicchio said veterans could help speed receipt of their special dividend checks by not making inquiries in advance. The answering of such inquiries would divert personnel time from the special dividend project, thus creating delay in the insuance of checks. ‘Pnteted it: BOSTON, LOS ANGELES LONDON
