Past Matrons Begin New Program With May Day Breakfast Fourteen members of the Syracuse Past Matrons Club of Eastern Star met for a May Day breakfast at Howard’s Saturday noon with Mrs. Rebecca Kitson. new president, presiding. Miniature baskets in pastel colors with pink parasols held party mints for each guest. A special favor marked the places of charter members. Those present were Mrs. Mary Hoy. Mrs Grace Slabaugh and Mrs. Melbur’n. Rapp.. Other charter members, not attending, are Mrs. Fannie Hoy. Mrs. Elnora Colwell. Mrs. Adah Crow. Mrs. Seth Rowdabaugh of Warsaw.
