County Tourney Returns To Syracuse For 1962 Session
Kosciusko county school principals voted Wednesday night to return the annual county high school basketball tournament to the Syracuse gymnasium For the past two years the tourney has beenrplayed at the Grace College gym in Winona. Principal reason for moving it from Grace College was the unsuitable parking space, it was reported. There is plenty of park ing space but the ground is very soft... •' Ronald Malott. Beaver Dam principal and president of the County Principal's Association, said the vote was 6 to 5 for Syracuse. When the tourney was moved from Syracuse to Winona two years ago.'the vote also was 6 to 5. he said Warsaw school armory was considered as a third possibility but Malott said the armory was not available as Warsaw's schedule calls for a home game during the time of the county tournament.
