Janet Riley Marries In Church Ceremony Saturday

Mrs. Terry Earl Trexler
Miss Janet Lee Riley and Mr. Terry Earl Trexler were married Saturday afternoon in a lovely setting at the Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Pastor Carl H. Satre performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with arrangements of white snap dragons and blue daisies, palms and candlebra. Greenery decorated the windows. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerold Kline. 118 North Shore Drive. Syracuse Lake. Mr and Mrs. Earl R. Trexler of Wauchula. Florida, (formerly of Peru) are parents of the groom. organ. accompanied Mrs. Carl Satre as she sang “I Love But Thee', and “The Lord’s Prayer '. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her wedding gown of white silk organza over white taffeta was fashioned with scalloped lace bodice and three quarter length sleeves. A pearl crown held the finger tip veil and she earned a white Bible covered with white lace and white sweetheart roses on ■dreamers. Miss Judy Jones attended as maid of honor. Her gown was of light blue silk organza, street length with full skirt. The neck line was draped with silk chiffon coming to a V in back. Her slip
pens were light blue with satin heels. Her head band was of blue net with two satin blue roses and she carried light pink carnations. Miss Linda Lantz, Miss Dian Alfrey and Miss Susan Herdrich of Whitestone. N.Y. were bridesmaids. Their costumes were identical to that of the maid of honor but in a deeper shade of blue and their accessories were alike. Sam St?gman of Peru, fraternity brother of the groom, was best man. Ed Holland and Kail King of Peru, and John Oberhelman of Evansville were ushers. For her daughter s wedding: Mrs. Kline chose a light beige lace sheath with matching cape and light blue accessories The groom's mother was dressed in an embroidered pink linen sheath with white accessories. Both wore orchid corsages. A reception was held in Luther Hall where flowers and candles decorated the serving table and the room. The wedding cake was exceptional in its design and was made by the grooms grandmother, Mrs. F. Walters, who was assisted with the serving by Miss Alice Appel. Miss Judy

They will return to Indianapolis in in the fall where Mr. Trexler will be a senior at Butler University. He is a member of Sigma Chi social fraternity and graduate

Satre was commissioned a First Lieutenant (Chaplain) in the United States Army Reserve. He has been assigned to the 374th Ordnance Battalion located in Ft. Wayne.
