Calvary EUB Guild Mrs. Phillip Strieby, assisted by Mrs. Theo Thomas, entertain ed the Christian Service Guild of the EUB church with seventeen members Wednesday evening Mrs. Paul Eppley was chairman of the program on Kentucky missions. A playlet was presented by Mrs. Garth Haines, Mrs. Harry Appenzeller. Mrs. Carrie Champlain and Mrs. Paul Eppley. During the discussion period, each told of a personal experience with missions in the United States. Offering was taken for the KYM. Mrs. R. H. Tytler conducted the business meeting after which refreshments were served.
NOTICE TO VANDALS There have been many recent cases of vandalism in the Syracuse Cemetery in the destruction of tombstones and grave markers, and and other acts of vandalism. The acts of vandalism mentioned above are crimes under the Statutes of Indiana for which people may be prosecuted. These acts have been reported to the police and must cease and parents are asked to caution their children to stay off cemetery grounds except when attending funerals or visiting graves for legitimate reasons.
