Change in Schedules Is Effective Sunday New passenger train schedules will go into effect Sunday on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, according to Agent Charles A. Caple. Westbound trains win leave Syracuse at 5:10 am. local time, and at 1:15 p.m. Eastbound train from Chicago will be at 2:33 pm. A second eastbound train, from Chicago, arrives here approximately 2 am., but only stops to discharge passengers, and does not run from Chicago on Sunday night. d The schedule changes coincide with the change to Daylight Sav irg Time of a number of cities. Windows Are Broken at Two Businesses Two incidents where windows were broken by BB guns were reported m Syracuse over the week end. Damaged were win dows at Gil s Pure Oil Station on South Huntington. and the Journal office, on North Huntington. Sheriff's officers and marshals at Pierceton and North Webster reported more than $2,000 damage done to homes and windows in that area. Aoparently the incidents took place after 10 p.m. Sunday Local marshal Don Enyeart and deputies Dan Ganger and Fred Personette are participating in the investigation. Ladies of Round Table: The Ladies of the Round Table were entertained Monday evening in the home of Mrs. M. E. Rapp with Mrs. Clair Dreher as co hostess. The president. Mrs. Dreher. ooen<ed the meeting with the pledge to Ute Hag and the club collect. Fourteen members answered roll call with interesting assigned reponses. The program was given byMrs. Eloise Method whose topic was “National Council of Churches" and by Miss Ethel Bowser who spoke on “Reforms erf Pope John XIII. A “Get Well" card was signed by all members to send to member Mrs. Orval Carr, who is a patient in Parkview Hospital, Foil Wayne. Temperance Week Mrs. Cleo Parrish.
