Jackets Suffer Defeat Twice During Week End Even with the accurate shooting of Tom Firestone, who scored 31 points. Leesburg handed the Jackets the 11th loss of the season Friday as the Jackets went down in defeat 73-69. Syracuse got a quick start and stayed ahead in the first quarter 16-13. Early in the second quarter Leesburg came back anti held an 8 point lead until Tom Firestone started finding the mark scoring 16 points during the quarter. Syracuse was ahead at halftime 41-31 Leesburg came back with a 31 point third quarter and left the Jackets behind 6254 at the end of the period. The final quarter turned into a see saw game and both Dentons fouled out. The Leesburg “five" took full advantage of this, took the lead from the Jackets and held it to the end.
