Regulations Given For Tri-County Game Area J. D. McCall, area manager of the Tri County fish and game area, has received the following regulations to be observed at boat landings on the lake at the Tri County Game Preserve. No permit is needed to place private boat on lake at TriCounty Fish and Game Area landings, providing the following regulations are obeyed. (l)Name and address must be clearly printed on every boat moored on any of the Fish and Game Area landings. (2> Maintain your boat periodically. and obey fish and game laws. <3> Remove boats from property for repair. <4> No boats shall be permitted in water overnight after November 1. (5> All landings are closed to fishing during bird hunting season—November 10 to December 20. inclusive. <6 > All boats must be removed from property on or before winter freeze-up. <7> Earlier closing dates may be posted for the purpose of Game Management. Sunken boats and those without names will be removed and stored for two <2> weeks. To claim boats, phone Cromwell UL 6-6333. Prize Winners Os Annual Poster Contest Judging the Halloween poster contest, sponsored annually by Thornburg Drug, proves to be more difficult each year according to the judges who were Mrs. Fred Clark. Mrs. George Lamm and Mrs. W. E. Long. Prize winners in the high school group were Diane Martin, first, with a haunted house. David Cobbum. second. Russell Peters, third: and Diane Miller, honorable mention. Kenny Willard and Phil Kline took the prizes in the junior high group. Kathy Dorsey. Judy Ridings. Ginger Jones and John Longenbaugh were judged first, second, third and honorable mention in the elementary group which includes the first six grades. Grace Bible Church Celebrates sth Year 4m Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gardner Grace Bible- Church at 518 South Main, plans a special five year anniversary conference and revival campaign 15 to 22 November with services beginning at 7:30 each evening. A special youth meeting will be featured Saturday night 21 November. Rev. M. Raymond Mason, pastor. announced that the blind Bob Gardner, former WLS star of the Barn Dance fame, and his wife. Frances, will be featured in the series. Other speakers will include Pastor Mason and the Rev. Charles Wagoner of Marion. Several surprise features will be introduced during the conference. The church is celebrating its five years as an organized church with charter ahd constitution; five years under the leadership of Pastor Mason and the return of the Gardners who were here five years ago in meetings. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Largen moved to Ligonier recently from their home on John Street. Mr. Largen is manager of the new Pettit Dept, store there. Mr. and Mrs. Jan Rinker have moved into the Johnson property just vacated by her parents and the Paul Beezley's moved into the Hughes property where the Rinkers were living. Mr. and Murrill Neff spent the week end in Evart, Michigan. visiting relatives. Mrs. Olive Miller returned recently from a visit in Evansville with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Smith and family. Robert Blough spent Wednesday last week in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Auer are spending a few weeks in Florida.
