Wawasee Club Host To Land-O-Lakes Tourney Ladies golf clubs of Tippecanoe Country Club. South Shore and Maxwelton Golf Clubs were entertained by the Wawasee Ladies Club Tuesday when they met for the annual Land-O-Lakes tourney. Luncheon was served in the Driftwood Room and a business meeting followed. A plaque was presented to the Tippecanoe club for winning the round robin series recently completed. They scored 30 points. Wawasee was second with 26 points and Maxwelton third with 23 It was voted to play round robin one more year. Officers for 1960 elected were Gladys Anderson of Maxwelton for president; Irma Sheldt of Tippecanoe. vice president: Thelma Hattersley of Wawasee. secretary and Jeanne Green of South Shore, treasurer. Prizes for the tourney play. 18 holes, were awarded to: Lenora Reagan. Wawasee: Esther Brewster. Maxwelton; Dorothy Rave. South Shore: Louise Miller Maxwelton. Elly Blakesley.
