Bridal Parties Honor Miss Mary Kirkwood r Mrs. Robert M. Farrell and Mrs. George W. Hay of Goshen entertained Friday with a luncheon at the Pickwick Lounge in Syracuse for Miss Mary Lou Kirkwood* whose marriage to • Howard Davis Cutter, m. will take place Saturday 27 June. A crystal shower was presented to the June bride-to-be by the thirty guests present On Monday evening Mrs. ’ Ernest Bushong honored Miss Kirkwood with a miscellaneous shower. Forty guests were present for the affair. Mrs. Fred Clark and her daughter. Nancy. k gave a short musical program • Gifts were presented in a large golden basket. The refreshment table was beautifully set with an antique cloth, decorative wedding bells and an arrangement of roses Mrs. Harry Weaver and Mrs. John Colby of Lake Wawasee will entertain the wedding party and families Friday noon at the Weaver home. ** The rehearsal dinner will be given by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph N. Melin of Evanston at the Elcona Country Club in Elkhart. Mrs. Melin is Mrs. Kirkwood's sister. Mrs. John Abshlre and Mrs. • Harold Gray will entertain the wedding party and families at the Abshlre home for luncheon Saturday before the wedding, which will take place at 4 p.m. in the garden of the Kirkwood 4 home at Lake Wawasee. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Geyer and son, Ronnie, of Elkhart, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lapp and family. • Rev. M. E. Reed and some friends of Winnemac have been at his cottage getting it ready for rent. Hurschel Cauble of Indianapolis was with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Phillips for three days recently. He and their son. Roy, went fishing but had no luck. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Sims and son were in their cottage for a few days cleaning It for rent, •'hey own the Coty Cottage which they purchased from Mrs. Huldah Schubert of Dayton, O. Mrs. Ada Russell and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Berger and family of Naperville spent, the week end as guests of Geandrana and Pleande Gray. , Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gragg of Bremen are spending three weeks in their cottage. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Cobb of Bluffton and Mrs. Ruth Cobb of Mich, spent the week end here doing some work on the interior of their cottage. Mark Champlin of Albuquerque. N. M. is here for two weeks with his grandmother. Mrs. Carrie Champlin. Mr. and Mrs. Deford Hite and children of Fort Wayne spent the week in their cottage. In a lovely church ceremony Sunday evening at the First Brethren Church in Milford Miss Sandra Kay Miller of Syracuse became the bride of Roger Allen Baumgartner of Milford. The Rev. Glen Grumbling officiated at the double ring service which took place by candlelight. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Miller of Syracuse are the bride’s parents and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Baumgartner of Milford. Nuptial music was played by Mrs. Ronald Brown, organist, as guests were seated by Glen Knisley of Syracuse and Jack Kneller of Columbia City, brothers-in-law of the bride. Baskets of white mums and pink glads, and lighted candlebra decorated the chancel of the church. A reception followed in the Arthur Baumgartner home. Mrs. Jack Kneller. sister of the bride, was in charge of the guest book and assisted with the refreshments. Others serving were Mrs. Knisley, another sister of the bride. Mrs. Steven Baumgartner and Miss Ida Vogel. Mr. and Mrs. Baumgartner will reside in an apartment in Milford upon their return from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls. For traveling the bride wore a mint green tucked sheath. She is a 1958 graduate of Syracuse High School and is employed In the office of the Syracuse Rubber Products Co. Her husband, who is a 1955 graduate of Milford High School, is an employe of Penn Controls. Inc. Wearing a ballema length ■gown of white nylon lace over Hospital Notes . . . Mrs. Ronald Sharp was re leased from Murphy Medical Center in Warsaw’ Monday where she had been a patient for five days for medical observation. Miss Letitia Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Jones, is convalescing at their home at 3217 Junaluska Drive. Columbus. Georgia, following a cataract operation in a Columbus hospital. Arthur Brown and Karl Lange were dismissed from Goshen Hospital Friday. Mrs. Eldon Watkins and daughter was dismissed Saturday. Coen Stephenson .RR. 1. was given emergency treatment for an injured left thumb at Goshen Hospital Friday. New Arrivals . . . WATKINS Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Watkins are parents of a daughter. Mary Robyn, bom Friday 19 June et Goshen Hospital. The baby weighed in at 6 pounds 14 % ounces. Mother and daughter returned to their home at the Sherman Deatons Saturday.

The flower girl, little Miss Charlene Sue Knisley, a niece of the bride, wore a dress of pink nylon net and a wristlet of poms poms. Steven Baumgartner attended his brother as best man.
