as the “Most Horrible Witch.” while Mrs. S. D. Myers won applause and a prize for the “Prettiest Witch.” A prize was also won by Mrs. Maurice Lung, for guessing “347” from a candy jar filled with 343 black and orange gumdrops. Mrs. James Stucky won the sunshine gift. Mrs. Nelson Auer, president, appointed Mrs. Stucky and Mrs. Leo Kowallik as co-chairmen of the Club's soft drink booth at the P.TA. Hallowe en festival to be held Friday night 31 October. A variety of donuts, cider and between the hours of ten and by the hostess and her assistants Mrs. Deloss Martin and Mrs. William T. Jones Jr. The next meeting will be 3 November at the home of Mrs. Gaylord Jones. Featured game of the evening was a hoola hoop contest which Mrs. Billy Coburn won without any difficulty. Prizes were won by Mrs. Coburn. Mrs. Fefl Rimades. Mfrs. Howard Juday ana Mrs. Lowell Stidham. Assisting the hostess were Mrs. Coburn, Mrs. Warren Benson and Mrs. Harold Fairbanks. Next meeting will be a dinner meeting at Howard’s 3 November. Seven From Syracuse Enrolled At Manchester Seven from Syracuse community enrolled at Manchester College in September. They are Phyllis George. Barbara Harley. Dave Longenecker. Phil Tom. Muriel Rose, Myron Weybright, and WiUiam Weybright. Student enrollment at Manchester College has reached a new high according to the official statistics released from the office of the registrar. Full-time students for the fan term number 995 with 68 part time and Saturday students making a grand total of 1.063. Last year total enrollment was 1.026. Men outnumber women among the full-time students 560 to 435. The student body this year comes from 15 states and seven foreign countries and represents 33 church denominations.
