Inc: was presented with an engraved gold watch by Harry D. Liebschuti. president of the Cincinnati firm.' Mr. Hays, now 72, will divide his retirement between his Wawasee Lake home, and Largo, Florida. He entered business in 1902 with Sheldon Dry Goods to Columbus Ohio. Several years later he Joined Marshall Field and Company’s wholesale divt-, slon, remaining there for more than 30 years—until the division’s lfquldation. ' In 1945 Mr. Hays became associated with Jerks Socks, covering Indiana, a territory he had served continuously since 1913. Mr. and Mrs. Hays have three children and eight grandchildren.
