Plan to attend the community Thanksgiving service to be held Tuesday, 26 November, at the Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Nine have gone to Florida to spend the winter months. Mr. and Mrs. Orva Miller and daughter visited Mrs. Ronald Meredith and children in Elkhart Saturday. Mrs. Ida Bigler will remain in Webster this winter instead of spending the cold months in Flordia as she usually does. Mrs. Lester Plew is undergoing observation at the Goshen General hospital. Webster Club Notes (Held Over From Last Week) NORTH WEBSTER HI-C Sixteen young people attended the North Webster Hi-C meeting Tuesday night. Randy Poyner and Dan Gable. Grace college students, presented a vocal number and Darwin Neddo, from Warsaw, was in charge of the
bible quiz. Randy Poyfi€r was the guest speaker, using the theme ‘Your Aim In Life’. AFTERNOON CIRCLE OF WEBSTER W. S. C. S. The Afternoon Circle of the W. S. C. S. of North Webster Methodist Church met in the church this month with Mrs. John Denbo in charge of devotions. Arrangements were completed for a turkey supper to be held at the church. Mrs. Earl Himes was assisted with refreshments by Minnie Kuhn and Mrs. Caskey. The Evening Circle met at the home of Mrs. Robert Richie. Mrs. Martha Duncan led devotions and was also in charge of the lesson. These ladies also made plans for the turkey supper to be held at the church. Club Notes . . . LADIES of the ROUND TABLE Mrs. Clair Dreher was hostess to The Ladies of the Round Table Monday evening. Mrs. Melbum Rapp and Mrs. Earl Sorenson presented a program on gardening to the sixteen members present. Mrs. Rapp’s discussion was on Roses; and Mrs. Sorenson spoke on Gardening. Mrs. Clair Dreher was elected to fill the office of secretary because of the resignation of Mrs. John Weatherhead who had been serving in the office. Refreshments, of an unusual but delicious fruit cake and coffee were served by the hostess. The next meeting will be a Christmas part with gift exchange to be held 9 December. BUNCO CLUB The Bunco Club was held Wednesday 20 November, at the home of Mrs. Lloyd Hart with Mrs. Eugene Henning assisting. Election of officers was held with Mrs. Donald Niles elected President, replacing Mrs. Oscar Bjella and Mrs. James Mench elected Secretary-Treasurer replacing Mrs. Charles Searfoss. The December meeting, will be a dinner at Howards Restaurant 18, December. Gift exchange will be held and secret pals revealed. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Joe Hughes as low and high and travel going to Mrs. F. Ringler. Apple pie and coffee was served at the close of the evening. Court News . . . Name Panel Syracuse attorney R. Leon Connolly, and Warsaw attorneys George Bowser and Robert Rasor have been named as a panel of three, from which a special judge is to be selected to hear the complaint on promissory notes of Wayland and Mary Seely of Angola, against Philip and Luetta J. Egolf of Route 4, Warsaw. To Show Cause Eddy Emerson, of Syracuse has been ordered to appear on or before 20 Noyember, and show cause why he should not be defaulted for failure to plead to the complaint of Harold Beaubien, Truck Sales and Service. Beaubien ask judgement of $275 on an alleged overdue account for auto repair. Rule Default Leonard Eppert and Richard Spencer, of Syracuse, have been defaulted for failure to plead to a complaint for damages filed by George Dußois. The complaint asking judgement of $375 is the result of an auto collision on U. S. 6, nine miles south of Goshen, 29 July, 1950. Granted Extension Hugh E. and Barbara A. Neer of Syracuse, the State Bank of Syracuse, and Edward Sroufe of North Webster, have been granted an extension of time to plead to a complaint to foreclose a mechanic’s lein on the Neer property, filed by H. Audrey, Mervin and Merritt Wagoner of North Webster.

Local News . . . Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bushong were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Landis Pressler in Fort Wayne Sunday and attended morning services at the Trinity Methodist Church there. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Heyde of North Shore Drive will have as guests for Thanksgiving and the week end their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Noble Heyde and sons. Paul. Ricky and Mark, as guests for Thanksgiving and the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Plummer, Jr., were week end guests of his pai'ents, Mr.- and Mrs. Dale Plummer, Sr.. Home for Thanksgiving week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Miner are Mary from Ball State at Muncie, and Jim from Purdue. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dean and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hughes will spend Thanksgiving and the week end in Corinth, Kentucky with Mrs. Hugheb’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gordon. Fosbrink attended the 13th District luncheon of the Medical Auxiliary last week in South Bend.
