• Webster Club Notes (Held Over From Last Week) WEBSTER AUXILIARY Members of the North Webster Women’s Auxiliary at a recent meeting voted to amend their constitution and lower the dues to $2.00. Arrangements were completed for the fall festival to be held 23 November. — Mrs. Harold Baker will be chairman ‘ for dinner details; Mrs. Paul Beezley, bazaar chairman; and Mrs. Albert Hamman bingo chairman. A decision was f,lso made to have the annual egion birthday dinner on 9 Nov. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Loren Kruger, Mrs. Frank Kruger, and Mrs. Dan Leedy.

BACKWATER FRIENDS CLUB The North Webster Backwater Friends met at Hilda’s Home craft shop this month. There were ten members and three guests present. Mrs. Robert Roose had devotions and Mrs. Darrell Leap gave a report on the tour of the Westville mental hospital. The ladies participated in various crafts of leather, flower making, and ceramics, in which the shop specializes. Mrs. Robert Dean served pumpkin pie and coffee. Local News . . . Mrs. Russell Kistler and Mrs. Claude Kistler were in. South Bend Saturday and attended the Notre Dame vs. Navy game. Navy defeated the Irish 20 to 6. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Henckel, former residents of Syracuse who moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, early this year, are now in Clermont, Florida, for the winter. Their address there is 431 Second Street. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Rex visited Sunday in Elkhart with their son, Roscoe and family.
