F.F.A. Initiation Held By Syracuse Chapter Four new members were initiated into the Syracuse Future Farmers of America Chapter Wednesday evening in the Vo.Ag. room at the high school last week. Ronald Roberts, chapter president, is seated at his z station listening to the recital. Local News . . . Mrs. W. V. Picket of Minneapolis has been visiting here in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Weatherhead, for several weeks and plans to stay until after Thanksgiving. Miss Anne Weatherhead, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. John Weatherhead, was home last week because of the flu and returned to school at St. Mary’s Academy in South Bend Monday. The training schools for demo-, cracy is in the public schools of the United States.—Mrs. Oscar A. Ahlgren. Dr. and Mrs. O. C. Stoelting were in Indianapolis Friday where Dr. Stoelting attended the convention of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons. They continued to Freelandville, for the week end where they joined the family of his brother and wife, Mrs. John Stoelting, who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Kinder and children spent the week end in Palos Park, Illinois, with Mrs. Kinder’s sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Pratt. Capt. James Myers leaves Sunday for California on his way to zd’ new assignment in Korea. Mr. and Mrs. F. Reinbold had word Saturday that their son-in-law, Major Jack Krietz, instructor in the Army Air Force at
Tucson, Arizona, would fly into Bunker Hill Air Base aboard an 8-engine jet plane some time soon. If time permitted they plan to see there. Major Krietz and his wife, the former Grace Reinbold, live in Tucson and have a nine-year old son, John. Bowling ...
