Rotary Sees Pictures Os Historical Interest J. Barton Cox* presented the program at Rotary Club Monday night and showed colored slide pictures of historical interest of places visited while on a vacation trip east this year. Commenting on the scenes, those of particular interest were of Plymouth, Massachusetts where Plymouth Rock has been preserved. Cox said considerable portions of the rock had been chipped away by souvenir hunters before the residents of the community established it as a shrine and commenced to preserve it. Interesting also is that the town of Plymouth is about the size of Syracuse and like Syracuse, is a resort area.
