Lake Wawasee, was released from St. Joseph Hospital at Fort Wayne Tuesday. Steve underwent surgery there on his eyes. He Is reported to be greatly improved. '

Rescue Ft. Wayne Boy From Near Tragedy A near tragedy occurred Monday evening at Tippecanoe Lake when Dick Cress, 18, of Fort Wayne, experienced trouble with his diving apparatus while skindiving. He z was exploring in approximately forty-five feet of water when the accident occurred. Cress and a friend were practicing off the beach at Tippecanoe Gardens dance pavilion. Bystanders heard the cry for help and three boys, aged from 12 to 14 years, hurried to their aid with a motor boat. Rushed to the North Webster fire station, first aid was administered until the arrival of Dr. G. W. Stalter. After further treatment the boys and a sister of one of them returned to their homes in Fort Wayne. Boyer-Barnhart Vows To Be Given 30 June Miss Norma Barnhart of North Webster will become the bride of Jay Boyer, R. R. 1, Warsaw, Sunday afternoon 30 June at the North Webster Methodist Church. The Rev. Lester Young will perform the ceremony. Miss Barnhart, 19, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barnhart of North Webster. She is employed in the offices of the REMC in Warsaw. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Boyer of Barbee Lake are parents of the groom who is employed as an automobile auctioneer. Both are graduates of the North Webster High School. On The Fairways Maxwelton Ladies Fifteen members and three guests played Tuesday 11 June. The guests were Mary Lou Bensch of Dayton, Ohio, Carol Cornell and Edith Swihart of Goshen.
