Obituary.... McCLINTIC Charles F. McClintic, 80, a lifetime resident of Turkey Creek Township, died of complications following an operation at 7:30 p. m. Saturday at the Goshen General Hospital. He had been in failing health for a period of three months. Mr. McClintic was bom in Kosciusko County 28 October 1876 the son of John and Lydia (Koher) McClintic. He was a carpenter and had never married. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Warsaw. Surviving relatives include one brother, Martin McClintic, of Route 3, Syracuse, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Troxel Funeral Home in North Webster. Rev. Herbert Yoder officiated. Burial was in the McClintic Cemetery near Lake Wawasee. » Mother-Daughter Party Held At Church of God Members of the Syracuse Church of, God and their guests enjoyed a delicious carry-in supper at a Mother-Daughter Banquet held Thursday evening in the church basement. Approximately 45 guests enjoyed the meal and a program sponsored by the youth, which was directed by Mrs. Elvin Hoffman. • Church rooms were decorated with aqua and pink crepe paper, which centered each table where an aqua or pink program was found at each place setting. Each member and guest received a pink or white artificial carnation. After group singing the youth took over the program to honor their mothers. Young rnembers participating in the program were Martha Mae and Mary Firestone, Peggy Hughes, Christy Niles, Sharon Frederick, Sandra Yeager, Becky Eyer, Jane Hibschman, Linda Hoffman, Peggy Firestone, Janice Pilcher, Susan LeCount, Dotana Sue Hibschman, Vickie Firestone, Diana Hoffman and Marsha Crow. Mrs. Carroll Koble, youngest mother attending the banquet, and oldest mother attending, Mrs. Hazel Ward, were each presented with a beautiful potted plant for the occasion.
