Jackets Beaten Second Time By Atwood Atwood Greyhounds defeated the Syracuse Yellow Jackets Tuesday night in the local gym by a score of 59 to 50. Syracuse got off to a flying start in the first quarter, but the Greyhounds pulled away in the second quarter and led the scoring for the rest of the game. Nicolai, for the losing Jackets, and Lee for the winning visitors, each chalked up 22 points for their team. Kistler followed Nicolai with 16 points. Denton fouled out for the locals and McKibben for the visitors late in

Miller made the first point of the ball game when a foul was called on Davis. Miller continued to score, ending as the Jacket’s leader with 12 points. The only foul out occurred when Buscher left the game late in tha fourth quarter. Lee and Thomas were high scorers for Atwood with seven points each. Syracuse meets Concord tomorrow night at Concord’s gym. Square Dance Friday There will be a Square Dance in the old gym of the Syracuse School Friday night with Bob Duessler of Ligonier calling the dances. Sponsored by the Nursery Guild of the Methodist Church, Invitation is extended to all. Refreshments will be served. Come one, come all, say the members of the Guild, Friday night 16 November.
