Armey-Dennison Vows Read Saturday Double ring vows were exchanged by Miss Fern Genevieve Dennison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emler L. Dennison of Route 1, Claypool, and Edward Leon Armey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Armey of Winona Lake, Saturday evening at 7:30 in the Syracuse Church of God. The Rev. Victor Yeager officiated. Two baskets of white mums and lighted tapers decorated the church. Mrs. Hilary Bachman was pianist and accompanied the vocalist, Mrs. Raymond Creakbaum of Claypool. Mrs. Manford Wise of New Paris was matron of honor and the flower girl was Miss Suzanne Yeager, niece of the bride. The ringbearers were Sandra Yeager, niece of the bride, and Michael Armey, nephew of the groom. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white lace gown, fashioned with a short train and cascades of ruffled lace down the back of the skirt. Her shoulder length veil was held in place by a cap of sequins and pearls. Her flowers were deep pink rose buds. The matron of honor was dressed in a light blue floor

Serving at the reception in the church basement following the ceremony were Mrs. Virgil Bobeck and Mrs. Paul Yeager, Syracuse; the Misses Shirley and Suzie Armey of Lakeville, and Miss Sharon Armey of South Bend. After a week’s wedding trip through the Smoky Mountains the couple will reside in Warsaw. For traveling the bride wore a green tailored suit with trim and matching accessories. Mrs. Armey is a graduate of Warner Beauty College in Fort Wayne and is employed in Berniece’s Beauty Salon in Syracuse. Mr. Armey served 2 years in the U. S. Last Stretch Os Toll Road Opens Today Climaxing a two-year construction program, the last sixteen miles of the east-west Northern Indiana toll road was opened to traffic at noon today according to the schedule announced by the Indiana Toll Road Commission. This section at the western end of the 286 million dollar toll road in Lake County is located between the Gary interchange and 106th street and Indianapolis Boulevard at Hammond. Although the super highway eventually will be connected at 106th street and Indianapolis boulevard with Chicago’s 88 million dollar Calumet Skyway, traffic will be ramped down to Indianapolis boulevard until the Skyway is completed, officials said. “So far, the only provision for replacing defective drivers of automobiles is when they kill themselves off.”—Nance County (Neb.) O-KI-HAN CAMP FIRE GIRLS The meeting night of the O-Ki-Han group was changed to 12 Nov. because of the Junior High basketball game on the regular date of 13 Nov. Eight members, Mrs. June Anglemyer, and Mrs. Mertha Shewman were present.
