School News SENIOR NEWS The senior class wishes to congratulate the two juniors Patti Dreher and Terry Frushour, for being the most courteous boy and girl last week. ’ The annual staff met last Thursday noon to discuss the annual sales. Each one was also given a receipt book. The sales started this week and will continue for two weeks. The cost of the annual is $2.25. the same as in previous years with this exception that it must be paid in full at the time the order is given. Be sure to order soon! You may order from any senior. Remember the deadline is 23 November. BTH GRADE NEWS liaura Woods left for Florida, where she will spend the winter. She plans to return to us in April. Donna Moots, Sue Anne Adams, Shirley Levemier, Janet Grady, Sharon Nordman, Sue Ann Juday, Tom Michel and Bill Duckwall stayed for the Pierceton Soc-Hop that followed the basketball game. Sherry Searfoss was picked as the most courteous girl in the Bth grade. In Health & Safety the classes had to write letters to Mr. Longenecker on how we could make the school a safe place. FRESHMEN NEWS The freshmen boys lost their first basketball game to Albion last Thursday. The score was 38 to 25. The next game will be held at Goshen, on Thursday. We all hope they will do better.

STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council chose the most courteous boy and girl in Senior and Jr. high. They were Patti Dreher, and Terry Frushour, in Senior High: and Jack Ridings and Sherry Searfoss in Junior High. HOME EC. DINNER The eleventh and twelfth grade Home Ec. class gave a dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Glen Longenecker and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gamer. Mrs. Heaton, the Home Ec. teacher and her husband also were guests. BOOSTER CLUB Diane Alfrey, treasurer, took orders for the blue and gold “Yeah Syracuse” pins at the 8 November meeting of the Booster Club. In the absence of both the president and vice president, Pat Seiffert, secretary, presided. Following a short business session, she turned the meeting over to tlje cheer leaders—Brenda Stabler, Janet Riley, Sue Herdrick, Suzi Klink, and Judy Jones. Local News . . . Paul L. Bailey and Leonard E. Bailey of Indianapolis were Sunday guests of their parents, Rev. and Mrs. J. C. Bailey. A surprise visit, this was the first time in many years that just the four Baileys had had dinner together.
