Here Is Complete Information For Advertisers, *ln the "Vacationland Jubilee" Special Edition ! As in past * ‘open house” celebrations, the SyracuseWawasee Journal, in co-operation with the Chamber •of Commmerce, will produce a special edition to be mailed to more than 5,000 area residents several days before'the event. The “Special” will be an attractive tabloid-size of 16 or more pages, some in color. 'This year’s edition will contain approximately 20 per cent reading matter, with the result that advertising spaces will cost slightly more, but the total cost of lhe paper to advertisers will be lower than the past two years. •More than 20,000 illustrations are yours for the asking—consult our admat files at the Journal office. ♦ If you need help in laying out your ad, call us at 191. In order for the Journal plant to produce such an edition it is necessary to adhere to a rigid planning *and production schedule. Please observe the following dates. It will be most difficult to accommodate any • “late comers.” ♦ TUESDAY 1 MAY— Space reservation must be in our hands. In order to plan an effective promotion, we must know how many ads and size of each. Please make your determination and mail or bring the reservation card to us by 1 May. • TUESDAY 15 MAY—ALL AD COPY MUST BE IN OUR HANDS Send it earlier if you can, but no later than this date. If there are prices missing, or a small hole to fill up, we can handle that part later, but we must have your layout and all copy possible by 15 May. If changes are to be made later, copy must be clearly marked “Copy to Come.” FRIDAY 25 MAY— Final closing date for all copy. All late prices, corrected proofs, and final copy must be in our hands. No changes can be made after this date. k 5 JUNE— “Special” will be mailed to more than 5,000 area homes. 15 JUNE — Bills for advertising in “Special” are due and payable. • CAUTION— Do not cut, write upon, or otherwise mutilate mats. * SUGGESTION— Send along a short news item (not over 100 words) about your business, or even the specials you are offering. * As many such items as possible will be used in the news columns of the “Special.” Lengthy articles cannot be used.
