'Bowling . . . . ladles Tuesday P. M. League Tuesday thirty-one ladles enjoyed the final bowling meeting at a luncheon held at the Pickwick Lounge. Social Workers To Meet 1 May The Northeast Regional Conference of Social Workers will be held at Potawatomi Inn, Pokagon Park in Steuben County on May 1, 1956. The Conference Chairman is Miss Ruth Smith, Public Health Nurse of LaGrange County, and the Program Chairman is Mrs. Lucile Buss, Welfare Visitor in the Steuben County Department of Public Welfare. The Coffee Hour and Registration will begin at 9:00 A. M. and will be followed, by the film “Medicine Looks at the Heart.” Dr. Charles E. Jackson, Bluffton physician, will discuss “Present Day Concepts in the Management of Diseases of the Heart and Blood Vessels.” This program is in cooperation with the Northeast Indiana Heart Foundation and the role of this organization will be explained by Dr. T. A. Kleckner, Fort Wayne physician. The luncheon will be at 12:30 in the dining room and reservations must be received by the Steuben County Department of Public Welfare, Angola, Indiana, by Friday, April 20. Tickets for the luncheon are $2.25 and include the Coffee Hour and tips. AFTERNOON PROGRAM Organ music and a men’s quartet will be followed by the afternoon speaker. The Committee has engaged Mr. Roy Davis, Director of Public Relations, Goodwill Industries, Indianapolis, Indiana, who will give his humorous and inspiring address
